Background

The annual LPL Focus conference took place from August 11-13th, in San Diego, CA with over 9,000 financial professionals in attendance. This flagship event included three dynamic days of learning and networking with the goal of helping advisors run a thriving practice.

The Challenge

How do you distinguish Equitable as a leader in innovation by showcasing our product solutions, resources and insights, while creating brand awareness?

The Approach

Highlight our enterprise value to financial professionals and clients with industry-leading asset protection and retirement income strategies.

Results

As one of the largest in-person gatherings of financial professionals and industry influencers, the Equitable team did an amazing job of engaging LPL advisors with a fun, digital focused experience that drew record breaking exhibit traffic, while showcasing Equitable strategies to help clients build and protect wealth in retirement.

Making an impression

This year’s highlight included a one-of-a-kind giant wallscape promoting - Clear skies outside. Clear strategies inside, prominently hung alongside the Hilton Gaslamp hotel. This high impact sponsorship opportunity created an exciting buzz among advisors and LPL senior leadership.

Results:

300k wallscape impressions,
32k social post impressions and 29.7% average email open rate.
